The University of Florida continues to build on its reputation as one of the nation’s truly great institutions of higher learning. It is home to some of the world’s brightest and most talented researchers and professors. UF’s students are ambitious and promising. Alumni and friends are engaged and spirited.
UF is one of Florida’s, and in fact the nation’s, great treasures — it provides a skilled workforce, tackles issues related to health care, agriculture, education and other areas, and pumps billions of dollars into the economy.
But UF can be better.
Private support makes the difference in UF’s level of success. With support from private donors UF will find solutions to the most pressing problems facing humankind today and better prepare the next generation of professionals for the challenges of tomorrow.
It all starts with regional campaigns — the local fundraising drives that fuel the university’s overall campaign. The Florida Tomorrow campaign’s success, in large part, depends on each region’s ability to recruit philanthropists to support UF’s mission.
